Mary passed me her "BARRON'S TOEFL iBT" book yesterday. Over 800 pages.

Plus my remained TOEFL official guide, my holiday won't be bored.

I am thinking about taking TOEFL test for quite a long time, but never take it.

Because I am afraid of facing the whole complex procedures of applying college at all times.

personal statement
recommend letters
bank record
financial aid application
visa application
…
Moreover, I have to do a lot of research on choosing colleges, reading their policies. I must do every step well in order to enter a good college.

It’s really a big project!

Usually one applicant needs at least 6 months to prepare.

I will spend one year.

But I'm still afraid of facing this project.

It’s too complex and I am almost blank so far.

I don't have an agency or a professional tutor to help me like what my friends have in China.

When my cousin applied to colleges, I have seen her big application packages.

And after her taking GRE test, she lost 6kg weight.

Anyway, it concerns my dream, I have to face it.

At least, when I applied to NYP, I almost fix everything by my own, the whole application procedures, my luggage, my flat…

Well~ if I cannot run away from it, let me face it!
