Monday sch reopen.
It seems that most of my classmates though my new hairstyle is not bad,haha! Thx to Estee!!
It's happy t see everybody again after a long holiday.

well, that are all the good things I found on Mon.
At my very 1st day, I already felt stress.
New modules are tougher, I'm really not sure whether I can do as well as I did in last semester...
I'm afraid of life science, although it's all the old stuff that I've learnt in China.....hundreds of new vocabularies drives me crazy...
Besides, I have to take care of clubs, TOEFL test.
That's why I didn't apply module IT3820, I don't think I can spend 5 hours per week on getting a CCNA cert.
Apparently it's a busy semester...

Had a class outing at marina bay after sch, a Singaporean style steamboat.
Haha, the game after steamboat was fun, luckily i didn't get any forfeit!

Went out with Huiyu on Thu.
We spent the whole afternoon at bugis.
She bough an nice ELLE jacket at BHG, $35 only! Lucky ah~
Then we went to Missha, she bought an eyebrow pencil and I bought an eyeliner, haha~
Our next stop is Sim Lim Square, and I bough my sony mp3 there, $123 pink colour.
And now I can use it for my TOEFL and for fun also >_< ....

Really nice mp3, charge 3 mins can use for 3 hours. hoho~~

Our dinner was at Kallang....ate a lot, need to diet liao~

Watched a montage on my high school yesterday.
It's made by Tian Yuan who was also the 2005 graduate, same with me.
I saw lots of familiar faces and places.

The classroom, a most important place for us, full of our memories.
We spent about 14 hours per day there.
Lots of us brought our own stuffs, like coffee cup and jacket.
And the books on the talble stack up like a hill, so the teachers won't observe that we were sleeping.

Our playground, we always refresh ourselves before our night class.

Our labs, usually full of the smells of ammonia. My friends always laugh at me cos I'm afraid of using match to light the alcohol burner.

The count down board told us how many days we left to perpared our university entrance exam.

Our sch. observatory, using the astronomical telescope to see the stars was really fantastic.

The fishes in the pool, we feed them with our bread and cookies. It's one of our biggest funs in our bored lifes.

The canteen, we hated the food there. That's why we always ate outdide.But now, I heard the food there is nicer.

God! How I missed my high sch life.
Although once I though it was miserable.
We were all lack of sleep every day.
We had our devilish training there, from 7:15am to 9:45pm every day.
Life there was just a battle without blood.

But because of all these, I grow up fast.
I became independent, coz I knew there won't be any arms or hands helping me to survive.
All I had is myself.

Because of that life, now I can handle my study easier.
I really feel appreciate.
Heard our sch will relocate to a new place.
Just write down something, to remember her.

Davis visited my home to get the DVD from me today.
We watched My Wife is Gangster 3 using PPStream, a quite funny movie and now I knew how horror his laugh was....haha, just kidding!
I enjoyed laughing together with him.
Gave him a bottle of bubble gum as a little gift.

It's weird that I knew "Lao Dai" less than 2 months and we acted like old friends now.....haha Maybe because we shared something in common, the past and the dreams.Wish his can pass his CCNA Test on 11Oct. I'm sure he can!

haha~finished working. Can start to enjoy my holiday from now on.

Really miss my classmates, the coming semester is the last semester I can be with them,

Saw Boya's message when I was online, he said he is homesick and really wanna cry.
wow~ made me though of the days when I just arrived in this country.

When I just said goodbye to my family and friends, said goodbye to my bed, my room, my dolls, all the things which I am familiar with in the past 18 years.

And at that moment, I knew nothing about this country, even its national day.

Evenything's totally new for me.

But Boya, you see, I am fine now.
Without my family and old friends.
I got new friends, new bed, new home...
Before that, I really had a hard time when I just arrived in Singapore, just like u.

Exam results came out at 19th midnight.
Checked my GPA after work, exactly the same as i though.
Although for 2 modules, I haven't got distinction as i expect...

Then I saw Davis' results in his blog...
straight A, 8 dist out of 10 modules!!!!

I was shocked!
8 dist! unbelievable!

Although I know in ECC, nobody can get this kinda results.
1. There are lots of Chinese students in ECC, most of them are smart and hardworking.

Nobody can get top 5% in every modules.
2. To get As, I just need to insure I get 80% of the marks or even 75%(if got modulation). Usually 2 or 3 past year paper will be more than enough for me.
That's why my notes are always blank and my GPA is not bad.
But to get dist, I have to cover every tiny place in notes and lectures.
So I have to spend twice time.
I always give myself this 2 excuses when I want to be lazy.

I'm not satisfy with my results, not because someone's better than mine.
Just I knew there're still lots of things I can do but never do last semester.
I skipped lots of lectures,
I always did a last minute revision,
I never even spent an hour on studying except the exam period,
I spent a lot of time on some unnecessary things.....
I deserve that...

Anyway, it's really really excited to have a friend who is better than me.
And for one moment, I even though it must be interesting if Davis and I are in the same course...haha~
Nice to have this friend specially when I wanna be lazy~

Changed my SIM card to my another mobile phone but forget to set the initial time,
so I woke up at 8:00am which my hand phone showed it was 12:pm....I did feel confuse for few minutes coz im still sleepy.

It's really crazy that I cannot confirm what time it was, I even switch my laptop to check the Singapore time. Stupid rite?

Tue. night, one of my friend sent my a web page address through MSN.
It's a porn. web!!!
Of course i was angry, so so so......angry.
It's rude to sent this kinda of web page to a girl!
So I ask him why he did so,
He ans: for fun!

I knew this guy for 10 years, how can he sent this kinda web page to me?
I was just about to block his MSN and Davis asked me what I was doing at that moment.
I told him the whole story, he asked me to calm down and said maybe it's just a virus.

So I send my friend an email to check with him.
Next day he answered me he spent the whole day at sch. and never switch on his laptop.
He didn't know what happen. Maybe someone used his laptop or MSN ID.....
............
There is no need for me to listen the whole story, I just need to know it's not him.
Luckily it's not u, or u will dirty my wonderful memory.

Missing u

Kind of abnormal today.
I dislike airport which will made me think confusedly.
And I like busy life, once I have a rest, like now, I'll start to miss a lot of people.

I just pasted servel photos on the wall in front of my desk.
SSN and SEG group photos, photos with friends Lu Qian or Davis,
and some other photos which made me abnormal....

I know im crazy, I pasted the wrong photos. 4 pieces!
Just wanna give myslef some motive power to push me forward so I will not be lazy for my iBT.
Well~some words I will never say, like I miss u to someone far away.
I really dislike such myself........
But I really wonder how am I if I didnt transfer to another primary school 10 years ago.

It's the 3rd day since I began to prepared my iBT.

I found a terrible truth, my English is even worse than before, especially in oral section and grammar.

I think that's because I seldom invest time in developing English since I was in Singapore.

Learning a language really needs willpower, even now I am in an English speaking country....

I've also met some of his classmates and his pretty girlfriend.

Friends will go back one by one,

Coz I dont like going to the airport,

flying away or seeing someone off.

I cannot bear the mood there.

I have been back twice.

One is for saying a last goodbye to an important friend before he flied to US,
probably won't see him again in the rest of my life.

The other is for my getting my driving licence.
And finally I passed all the tests just one day before I went back to sg.

I found life is bored in China although im homesick sometimes.

All my friends are not in holiday when im in holiday.

And what they think and want is different from me.

We can hardly have a deep talk.

But during the past 17 months,

I become more and more quiet.

Losing my passion inch by inch.

Sometimes I felt lonely, just like lots of international students did.

Like what I heard when I'm still in China:

Study overseas is like an unreturnable path, once you move on, there is no way to return.

haha, although im now in holiday, begin to miss my parents, my friend in China, my friends in other country...

I'm not regret.

Coz like it or not, it's my own choice and my life is already here.

Mary passed me her "BARRON'S TOEFL iBT" book yesterday. Over 800 pages.

Plus my remained TOEFL official guide, my holiday won't be bored.

I am thinking about taking TOEFL test for quite a long time, but never take it.

Because I am afraid of facing the whole complex procedures of applying college at all times.

I need:
TOEFL result
GPA transcript
CCA transcript
personal statement
recommend letters
bank record
financial aid application
visa application
…
Moreover, I have to do a lot of research on choosing colleges, reading their policies. I must do every step well in order to enter a good college.

It’s really a big project!

Usually one applicant needs at least 6 months to prepare.

I will spend one year.

But I'm still afraid of facing this project.

It’s too complex and I am almost blank so far.

I don't have an agency or a professional tutor to help me like what my friends have in China.

When my cousin applied to colleges, I have seen her big application packages.

And after her taking GRE test, she lost 6kg weight.

Anyway, it concerns my dream, I have to face it.

At least, when I applied to NYP, I almost fix everything by my own, the whole application procedures, my luggage, my flat…

Well~ if I cannot run away from it, let me face it!

Lots of friends said I was disappeared for 3 weeks since National Day.

And I even haven’t contact with my mum for 10 days.
In the past 3 weeks, I am really busy.

Exams
When I mention exams,
I have to say SORRY to my friends who had asked me out to teach them for the exams.
I reject about 50% of their requests just because I always do a last minute revision and this time I don't even have time to prepare my own exams.

I was always proud of my last minute revision, because it’s works every time.
Like Liyi said, Dechy only studies 2 weeks every semester, one before CT, one before exam. But still can get high GPA.
It’s time to lose this bad habit…
I wished my friends can trust me when I said I don't have time is not an excuse.
I am willing to help them.
Anyway, next semester, I’ll reserve more time for them.

Clubs
On 15th Aug. 2007.I became the new president of SSN Club and 2 days later I was the SEG Vice-President also, although I was nominated without acknowledgement.

Then we began to prepare our 1st event, ssn commissioning ceremony during our exam period.
My partners are all excellent students which made me very excited.
I like working with excellent partners. They inspirit me a lot.

Like what I said in my president speech, we have one year, and I believe it will be the best year in our NYP life.

Holiday
After SEG Commissioning Ceremony, I have a 6-week-holiday.
I have lots of thing to learn.
The first thing is English.
I know my English is better than most of the people who came from China in NYP, but I still need to learnt it.
It concerns my dream.
I am luck enough to have 2 parents who are willing to pay for my dream.
I hate disappointed people, especially 2 important people in my life.
They never give up on me even when I was grounded and the teachers though I had no hope. So today I can be their excellent daughter.
I’ll Start to prepare my TOEFL iBT test, probably begin with the vocabulary. Maybe I’ll take the real test at 2008 so the result will not expiry in 2010 which is 1 year after I graduated.

I will miss all my friends and see you guys in Oct.

The 14th SSN Ex-Co members

Preparing 4 the SSN commissioning Day and Exams these days.

The first feeling when I know I was the 14th SSN president is that I got more responsibility now.

I am totally new.
And being a foreigner, I still have lots of thing unknown,
like how to run a club, how to plan a event.
These are the things I've never learnt in China...

There is another president in SSN, I saw his video, an amazing guy.
Well~ you know, a girl like me, will seldom admit someone is better than me.
I'm unwilling to be left behind others.

This guy made me miss the old myself.
In secondary school, I used to be a girl full of passion.
I want only NO.1 and I want everything to be prefect!
With my main competitors Ken and Ting, life is busy but good~

I've wasted a lot of time in this semester.
I was told by Boya: High position, more responsibility.
I cannot waste my time anymore.

Friends overseas are all fine now.
Rose is taking her favourite course at Toronto;
Boya is learning how to be a good pilot;
Cooler is no more homesick at Austrilia;
Aaron just finished his summer sch. at Washington, D.C.

Still waiting 4 my SSN interview result....they will release it on Monday.I apply treasurer, a hot position. God bless me!

Today I went to IKEA with my roomate, not as good as I imagined. I just bought 2 glasses which made in Russia, not bad!

BTW, I almost ate at home recently, I really enjoying cooking now although I dont have talent.

I swam a lot recently, there's a swimming pool in TG, but i seldom use it~~only 3-4 times per year.

Found a now job as a promoter at NTUC. Starting salary is $5/h, adding 50 cents/h after every 4 times, up to $6/h, not bad, haha~~

Soch in asked me to be her tutor next week,wowo~quite busy next week.

Last week i went to watch Transformers at Bugis, digital version. It is really a fantstic movie.

I spending 2 night on CS report. After that,im half alive but amost die!

But this week, worse! work 4 days.
one of the function i serve is for the Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi although im not VIP server. Wu YI was in Singapore for her 4-day visit, and she had dinners @ shangri-la hotel on Tue. and Wed. I saw her @ VIP table yesterday while im working, really a powerful woman!
very happy to have a chance to see such VIP people in my real live, especially from my motherland. She leaved soon, and after that, it became a crazy dinner, almost every body drank a toast to the VIP guests, it made our service very difficult, because it was a 12 courses dinner, and we cannot serve the next course if they havnt finish the present one. after the dinner, we all die!!!

have to work 2 more days this week, god!

Damn CS Report

After having a nice sleep with my new pillow yesterday, I have to face my CS report today.

When playing games or doing reports,im really sucks!!!

I still remember my first report in NYP, I got $D-! The 2nd one got C-.
That's why I think it's smart that i never choose liberal arts in my high Sch.

BTW, I found our new partner Ivan is really cool! That's the best word represented him.
He always took all the point within 5 mins. Keep our discussion short and sweet.
He is not suppose to be in our team.
Well~ long story,but now i really think it's lucky to have him in our team. Liyi is getin' better now, at least he can move slowy. Wish can see this guy @ sch. next week.

New Pillow

Went to see Liyi today and he is still alive now~~~at least can jump to the clinic slowlyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

I bought a $39.9 pillow on the way home from Tampines, 100% natural cotton, my previous one was made of fiber, and it became thiner and thiner day by day. I think that why I got neck problem recently and cannot sleep well.

wowo~my also chose a pink silk pillowcase. I heard silk pillowcase can prevent the appearance of facial fine lines.

wish i can have a fond dream tonight~

CT is over, but the following Comm. Skills Report makes me miserable, I got no idea on it so far, how to write a 25 pages report?

That's why im really lookin' forward to the Sep. holiday now, imagining how i can enjoy my holiday in Thailand or Malaysia with my friends.haha~
